Take a Breath

A lot of song ideas are lost in the ether because they come at inconvenient times. One of the perks of working from home is that when a musical idea is sparked, you can capitalize on it immediately. That's what happened with this track. I laid down the guitar riff in the morning of one of my shifts. The rest of the composition came later, but it all fell together quite easily. This song perhaps shows the influence of Tool on my style more than any other song I've written. I am really happy with the production quality of the track. It's one of my better showings.
